I am pleased to bring to your attention a new television documentary, Treason or Honor produced by Documentaries International Film and Video Foundation which reflects upon German rescuers of Jews during the Holocaust period. Filmed in Germany in 1998 this 28 minutes production is co-sponsored by Yad Vashem, the Goethe Institution and by the Chronos Film Studio in Berlin. The NTSC -English language version is narrated by Ute Hagen and the PAL German version by Anna Rosmus. VHS copies can be purchased from this Foundation for $28.50, which includes packaging and postage. Public showings are being scheduled in various cities. We would also welcome your thoughts on a public showing in you community. Other "rescuer" programs related to Jewish fugitives in the Holocaust produced by this foundation were filmed in Italy, Greece, Poland and Scandinavia. All are similarly available.
